Australia & New Zealand's requirements for toys are mainly reflected in the AS/NZS ISO 8124 series of standards.
For electric toys, the relevant safety requirements of AS/NZS 62115 shall also be met. In addition, Australia has issued a series of mandatory standards and prohibition notices under the Australian Consumer Protection Act and the Trade Conduct Act, which also have relevant safety requirements involving toys.
